Business Development Manager – Aerospace (Ontario)

 

Patlon Aircraft & Industries is growing, and we are looking for a driven sales professional to join our Ontario team. In this role, you will create value for both our customers and suppliers by developing new business opportunities and supporting existing accounts across the aerospace sector – with a focus on ground support equipment (GSE), aircraft power solutions, airfield lighting, and related aerospace products.

Successful candidates must hold or be eligible to obtain a Canadian Government Security Clearance.

Position Summary

Reporting to the Director  – Commercial Sales, the Business Development Manager is responsible for buy & resell and commission sales of all Aerospace and Electronic products with selected clients across Ontario. This is a remote position based in Ontario, with occasional visits to our Milton office as required.

Key Responsibilities

  • development of new applications and the servicing of existing applications
  • pursue new product lines and new market areas
  • drive results and growth
  • support customers with application expertise on projects
  • develop annual buy & resell and commission sales budget
  • prepare reports for all sales visits and relevant telephone conversations
  • previous experience with airline and airport authorities sales is an asset

Job Requirements

  • University degree or equivalent approved experience
  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience in an aerospace or aviation-related role
  • Prior experience selling to airlines, airport authorities, or MRO operations is a strong asset
  • Familiarity with ground support equipment, airfield lighting, or aircraft power systems is an advantage
  • All product-specific training will be provided by Patlon Aircraft & Industries
