Inside Sales Coordinator – Ground Support Equipment (GSE)

Milton, Ontario | Full-Time | On-site

Join a Growing Team in the Aerospace & Defense Industry!

Patlon Aircraft & Industries Ltd. is seeking an experienced Inside Sales Coordinator to support a specialized customer base within our Ground Support Equipment (GSE) and Field Services division. This is a key role that ensures smooth coordination between our customers, suppliers, and
internal teams including Repair & Overhaul, Field Service, and Logistics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the main point of contact for customer communication – prompt, professional, and solutions-oriented.
  • Understand customer needs, project priorities, and delivery deadlines.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (Sales, Repair & Overhaul, Field Service, Shipping/Receiving)
    to fulfill customer requirements.
  • Manage the full order processing cycle:
    • Submit vendor price inquiries
    • Prepare and issue quotes
    • Process customer purchase orders
    • Purchase required parts and equipment
    • Coordinate delivery and fulfillment
  • Track and manage orders using daily and weekly reports (Work Orders, Backlogs).
  • Support inventory planning and purchasing for both project-based and stock requirements.
  • Liaise with logistics providers to arrange and quote shipping.
  • Contribute to monthly and quarterly sales and performance reporting.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in inside sales or customer service, preferably in aerospace,
    defense, automotive, or other technical/industrial sectors.
  • Familiarity with supply chain and procurement processes.
  • Basic product knowledge of GSE or related components (e.g., GPUs, cables, power units).
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent follow-through, and time management skills.
  • Comfortable working with technicians, suppliers, and leadership.
  • Confident communicator, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Analytical thinking, able to assess order and inventory needs and recommend solutions.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word); experience with ERP systems a plus.
  • Must be eligible to apply for Canadian Government Security Clearance.
