Type X

The primary purpose of X-type mounts is to safeguard sensitive electronic equipment from shock. These mounts find application in submarines to suspend and mitigate noise within confined spaces. Moreover, they are utilized across various engineering applications in different industries, providing protection against factors such as starting torques and overload surges.

Type XM

The Type XM mounts were developed to be compatible with the Type ‘X’ range, offering a space-efficient design. The Type ‘XM’ mount is versatile, allowing installation in any orientation, whether on the deck, bulkhead, or deck head, enabling equipment to be securely mounted.

Type Y

The Type ‘Y’ mount provides comparable shock protection to the Type ‘X’ mount, with the added benefit of superior noise and vibration isolation. This mount offers the best overall combination of shock and vibration isolation among all resilient mounts.

Type J

Designed for shock mounting applications, this solution is ideal in situations where post-shock alignment with either equipment or the ship’s structure is not crucial, and where there is no specific need for vibration protection or isolation.

Type L & M

The Type ‘L’ and Type ‘M’ mounts serve as versatile solutions for general-purpose anti-vibration and noise isolation applications. They offer a restricted shock isolation capacity within their deflection range. The Type ‘L’ mount series covers a load range from 5 kg to 130 kg across seven mount sizes, while the Type ‘M’ mount, available in a single size, accommodates loads ranging from 340 kg to 450 kg.

Type R

The ‘R’ type mount functions as an anti-vibration mount. The mounting consists of rubber bushes and steel washers and distance sleeve.

Type PD

The Type ‘PD’ mount is a resilient mount designed for general-purpose use, primarily focusing on vibration isolation. It is offered in three sizes, spanning a mass range from 750 kg to 2500 kg, providing effective vibration isolation for heavier applications.
